I've tried to support as many clubs as possible by buying a seed or two in each auction. I got a Marsh 09 lot at the NCGVG auction. 9 seeds in total. 8 over 1000 with a best of 1488. I am new in this Hobby and have not heard of Marsh. You can tell by his numbers he is a beast of a grower. His crosses look great. I wonder why I have never seen his name before.

I was browsing through some of last years diaries today and went through his. And yes he grew some beauties. He even grew in a new patch in 09 which is even more impressive. He has some great genetics behind his seeds also.1385 jutras, 1161 rodonis and other great ones. I would say you got a very good seed pack. Look up his diary. Good luck growing.

Kevin Marsh is from South Dakota, holds the state record. I have a picture of him w/pumpkin at stillwater weigh-off and a pict of his 1445 in the photo gallery under Richard B.

Thanks for the info Biz. No harm done. I was happy to contribute to the club anyway. As for the seeds. I did not throw them out. I sanded all of them this morning and they are currently soaking. I will just use them for my winter trials.

The Biz has an ego bigger than the rockies and he thinks he's on the top of them, he really needs to get a reality check.

we have a grower down here in Virgina the last three years all he grows is Marsh seeds...He swears by them.
Kevin sent us a big lot for the VGVGA auction this year the lot went over $200....one heck of a nice guy and one H**l of a pumpkin grower.

Kevin Marsh has great seed crosses and I dont understand why more people dont grow his crosses as well.....and I wouldnt be a bit surprised to see Kevin in an Orange coat someday soon as well......So pay no senZe to BiZ....he waZ a kiddin I'm sure......

Ya, it looks like Kevin Marsh is a mad man. I would think maybe he does not promote himself and because he is not as well known hes seeds could be a great value.

.....LOL Pickeringchris....my firzt year at the Niagara convention, I sat right next to a guy and we talked for a few minutez before the show started.......we had to turn our chairz a little to face the stage and when we did, hiz chair waz directly in front of me for the remainder of the day......when Dave Stelts started handing out jacketz, thiz grower,(still sitting in front of me), hung hiz award jacket over the back of hiz chair where I sat, starred, touch and marveled at it for the next several hourz......make sure your seedz say "Kevin" Marsh ...he holdz hiz State Record for a good reazon..........

Kevin is a very good grower & an all-around good guy. He makes good crosses & is always willing to trade seeds or help other growers. I'll be surprised if he doesn't hit 1600# in 2010.
