can anyone tell me if pumpkin symbios and biogrow endo plus are the same type of product. I am debating on which one to use in my patch this year. Any comments would be very helpful. Jeff B.

This year I am going to go with a mix of both. 5 pounds of each mixed. I know quite a few other growers are doing this to.

I will be mixing the 2 brands. I believe Phil Hunt also did this last year.

Hi Tiller, No they are not the same. BioGrow Endo Plus is made by a scientist with a Doctorate in the field, and has 4 species of Endomycorrhizal Fungi instead of one. BioGrow also has two strains of Trichoderma, and a biostimulant package. I would be glad to send you a multi-page report that lists the different species and points out the differences. Email me at [email protected]

Thanks, Joel

Mr. Tiller, If I am not mistaken, Former world record holders Ron Wallace, and Joe Jutras use Symbios Pumpkin Pro as well as Don Young and many other very successful growers.

What is biostimulant package kelp humic mixed with it ?Whats the spore count for Bio Grow Endo?

The Biostimulant package contains kelp, humic acid, amino acid, Vitamins E,B & C. Mehdi Daho, Bob Liggett used BioGrow Endo Plus and they actually paid for it. I run a small company and can't afford to give product away to top growers. Biogrow with the stimulant package has 20,000 propagules per lb. We also now have a product from Doctor Michael Amaranthus with 60,000 propagules per lb. without the Biostimulant or Trichoderma. and also a superfine with 120,000 propagules per lb.
Thanks to the many who have emailed us at [email protected] to get the multi page report. We also have 6 different independent test results to send.

I used Joel's product last season. I grew a 1543# pumpkin and my big one got away at 426". Big pumpkins weren't proof enough for me so I sent root samples from the 1543# plant to Western Labs.

Root testing results were very good for myco colonization and I only used about 1.5# of endo plus on the 1543 plant.

I will say that yes I know that the RTI works very well. My competitor on the wrong side of the Mississippi uses it with great success and kicked my butt at 3/3 weigh-offs. Unfortunately it's not apples to apples until he tests a plant and that did not happen this season.

Unfortunately for me I also pay for Joel's product...lol.

We used a mix of the two on our plants last year, because we weren't sure who's product was best. We'll do the same again this year. We bought ours as well.
