Subject: vapor barrier verses greenhouse plastic?

is there a difference in the light it lets through? Or is there any other magor difference?

i dont know about vapor barrier but i can tell you that the clear plastic lets in more light than the white plastic. the difference between them was about 15 to 20 degrees.

The poly's light transference is the same, both poly's are 6 mill. If the vapour barrier poly is UV protected, which most are, they should both last you about 5 years, I've used both and you max out at 5 years either way, As the age of the poly increases you loose light transference, due to yellowing. Biggest thing with poly, is keep it tight. Install it in the heat of the day.
