figured i would start a thread of any new ideas learned this winter to be implemented in 2010. feel free to elaborate as long as you want or just keep it simple. with winter tightening its grips here again this week in the midwest, i thought it might be a good idea to let people share what they have either researched on their own or have picked up from other growers. lots of time left this winter to learn and share info.

from thad starr on the gvgo message board....place a small fan by sprouts under lights to thicken them up before transplanting.

from don young, the best question and answer man alive in chat....drop down and add under canopy low volume sprinklers to replace misting heads as each section of leaves mature enough to a stage where misting is no longer needed to keep them from frying.

all 3 of these will be tried this year for the first time here.

Plant a tomato or six to dote on early and clone later. Makes winter shorter.....

Other than that, the fan idea circulated past me on chat on here, and using that to turn sprouted 'maters into TREES and later will try it on pumpkin sprouts.

I learned I am really starting to hate winter... Heading out to Arizona in March. I'm trying the co2 product and the under the canopy watering system that Thad and Tom P. used.
