What would be the minimal angle of a roof pitch to ensure that hail would runoff a plastic covered hoop house?

Greg, I found this comment below:
Remember: Always design your structure to incorporate a slope of 30 degrees minimum to the horizontal to ensure effective hal shedding in severe storms.

If I'm calculating right, that should be about:
7 in rise to 1 ft of run or 1 ft rise to 1 ft 9 in of run or 4 ft rise to 7 ft run

...I think driving down I-70 ,Eastbound, from downtown Denver toward the Northeast of thiz country iz about a 30 degree drop of elevation....might be easier just to move out of thiz state and go East young man !!.....
