Anyone know who this is?,,

Im getting crazy emails from the person that doesnt make a lick of sense,(really kinda annoying to be truthful) Anyone else getting them?

I could be wrong but is this the same person ( the NO MORE SEEDS guy) and the one who kept interrupting a seed Auction this year?,,Is it a kid? Cause he sure acts like one that needs to be monitored by his parents.

Anyone know em?

I received one nicely worded email asking if he could acquire seeds from Pumpkinfest' inventory and let me know he was 14 year old and was very polite when I explained the inventory is not available to the public until after the convention - that's all I know.

Lisa, not only that, but just received a email from a very very good friend of mine and very popular grower who likes his privacy to a extent just like any other grower does, but one of the nicest growers you ever want to talk to .

But was told hes been trying to get a hold of him leaving him weird messages on his machine and other family members machines scaring the ship out of them , because at the time they didnt know who this was for a while, kinda like a stalker,,I dont think the boys parents monitor him very well.

Pizza, I didnt send him seeds but had someone go through the trash dump after they picked up his garbage,, and found a 1421 Stelts, 991 Urena, and a 1068 Wallace. Just wiped the ketchup and left over chicken dinner w/ ranch off the seeds and they look good as new.

Some things you can do.

File a complaint with his internet service provider.
Block his emails using your SPAM filter.
Call and discuss this properly with his parents.
If he gets too out of hand, call your local police station, most larger cities now have an internet crimes division.
If you can prove you've experienced some loss or trauma from these emails and phone calls, sue his parents, they'll start watching him better if it cost them.

Phone harrasments still exist as a crime. Keep those messages for later use.

i agree with duane the kids parents need to know whats going on. that type behavior at 14 is scary...only get worse if not helped. they dont make tissues for those kinda issues

He e-mailed me about a month ago to see if I would be his grower-buddy. I wanted to be up-front with him so I told him I don't like talking on the phone much and during spring and summer I might be too busy to respond to his e-mails sometimes but he was still welcome to e-mail me anytime, just don't be offended if I don't have time to respond right away. I haven't heard back from him since. Oh well, I'm guess I'm just not the stalkee-type! :)

Well, he's just an exciteable boy..... :)

look at the way we talk to one another at times? i remember when brooks started ron and i answered every question he had. and there were many.

we cant forget how we got our starts but at the same time we also deserve our privacy if requested.

Brooks I've gotten a ton of e-mails from this person clainming to be John. He's always been polite and seems motivated. I've answered all his e-mails and haven't had any disrespect thrown at me or any bad comments.

I think he just needs someone to help him along. I do recall Paul(Tack) being very irate with him for comments that where directed to him. At any rate he seems to be a good kid just a little over bearing at times. I suspect once the growing season starts he'll have so much things to do in the patch that time spent on the computer will be limited.

At any rate People do need their privacy and a kid using bad language towards adults is wrong.

I have answered a few phone calls from him and get gmail chat from him once in awhile. The John Honaker I am dealing with is a kid but been a well mannered one if a little eager. Wonder if someone is impersonating him? (the bad emails and weird phone messages) I will be willing to release the phone number that I have if it is needed to assist in clearing up if he's being impersonated.

Oh boy,,,, hes not being impersonated trust me on that. and its the same well mannered John Honaker your dealing with. He can read the posts here but cant sign in and respond to the threads because his account has been shut down a while ago. There is a reason why your well mannered John Honaker is not aloud to post anymore and this happened well before he started emailing people and calling others on the phone. (Just ask him, you have his email and phone number). Hes a kid and I understand kids do what kids do.

I just get tired sometimes of people sticking up for someone when someone else tries to warn others what is going on and then themselves ends up looking like a ass because other that dont really know a person try to make them look good by saying they would have never have done that or they woul never do no wrong. The kid did what he did plan and simple. I shared his emails with a few people and they will tell you what Im talking about.

Last post from me about this kid.

Brooks, if you've had a problem with him, then you've had a problem with him period. I just posted *my* experience to date, and I do know some stuff went down in chat before the account was closed.

I just offered what I could in case such a thing was going on. I guess it's called caevat emptor.. (?sp)

Okay...this needs to end and someone needs to contact his parents. With the behaviour that he has showed so far...what will he do next...kind of scary as a parent!!

This kid has acted inappropriately in several ways and that simply is a fact.

I have been forwarded several emails from 2 differant sources that were sent by the boy, and quite frankly they are disturbing to say the least.

Okie, if you want to be his buddy, his mentor, his go to gal...then so be it, his parents need to be aware of his online activity and monitor him alot closer before his behaviour escalates and he ends up being locked away and taken care of by Brooks or some other institution.

maybe he needs a male role model or attention.

Remember a certain kid (cross country runner) who emailed every top grower for seeds and never grew em. lol

sometimes the best intentions go bad. It would be like having a1385 j and saying call me if u want a seed. I would call every five minutes lol and so would a lot of growers lmao.

North Shore Boyz, I haven't seen anything other than the tail end of the night in chat when Paul F got ticked off at him. And shortly after that he asked Ken D to terminate his account here.

If I had issues or seen something going on, I'd go to his parents.

If you or anyone else is having problems with him, then go to his parents with proof.

I have him buzz me on Gmail chat almost daily for several minutes, lately we have had civil discussions on how to sprout or issues with his test germing; and traded opinins on how to arrange or prune a vine.

Again, if you are having problems with him, go to his parents WITH PROOF. At present I'm not having problems, else I would be picking up phone and calling his parents directly.
