They're fine...I just don't rinse them off with warm water. I keep the entire seed retrieval/drying process nice and cool. Once dried, they go right back into the deep freeze, BF

Odds are they're still good if they haven't sprouted. Test a few.
Jack o lantern seeds come up all the time from frozen Halloween pumpkins.

I've been that idiot before Capt'n! I saved the seeds from a frozen, thawed, frozen thawed pumpkin. Tried 5 of the seeds last year to see if they would germinate. 4 of 5 did with no problems.
I did not grow the plant, so I cant say about that. Dont know if there would be any effect after germination?

Some growers put seeds in the freezer so i would say they are fine.

I believe stratification (freezing) will actually improve your germination percentage.

I think the worst part of this is the cold hands from handling the frozen seeds and pumpkin guts. I usually harvest from several fruit and bag them as I go and label them and stick em in the freezer until I have room for another batch on the drying screen. They do just fine.

Thanks guys. it was a pumpkin called Iran which is hard to get. I was lucky to get seeds a while back. Plus I was lucky to get seeds from the pumpkins.
I also got seeds from queensland, galeux, and Iran. If anyone is interested I should have em dried soon.
Thanks again.
