I going to buy a backpack gas powered mist blower, any recommendations? I have checked out a Stihl and the solo brand is one better than the other? What about the different models numbers also?

I just purchased the Stihl. Cant tell you if it is any good or not because I have not used it. Something to consider,Stihl servicing dealers and parts availability out numbers solo 10:1
I am in Canada. You guys ever hear of Echo? I am not sure if they are sold in the US. They are great machines too. I have 2 Echo machines and love them.

Try the Stihl on 'fully loaded' before you buy. I am a little gal and that thing about did me in.

I bought the one from Tony Vanderpool and was happy. It fits me better, kills me less; and does the job. Look at my 2009 diary for pictures.

Don't get me wrong, I almost bought the Stihl....

I am a big horse and the stihl fits and feel perfact on me. I can understand how it would be a bit heavy for a petit person.
