Happy New Year everyone! May one of you grow a pumpkin in 2010 the size of Bob Liggett's with the weight of Phil Hunt's. Our 2010 Premium Seed List shall be up soon as seeds are still arriving. We are honoured to be offering many great grower's seeds from 2009 including the Canadian Record 1677.5 Hunt, 1636 Liggett, 1449 Traylor, Jaser's 1360 German record and many many others. We now have a good supply of the 800 Neily squash seed which grew John Vincent's World Record squash @ 1236 lbs. May you all have a happy, safe and healthy New Year. Cheers! Danny

I know Dill's is a family run business but I question why it does not have modern methods of payments such as credit card or paypal. The current process of mailing with no gaurentee of getting product is a major PITA.

Chris, I have been ordering seeds from the Dill family for about 15 years now and never had any problems. Throw a cheque or money order in an envelope and you're done.

Just so growers know, Jane & I are now out of 1677.5 seeds for trade with other growers. We're very sorry we can't trade with everyone, but the demand is high & the seed count was low (@ 200 seeds). We wish we could give &/or trade everyone a seed from our 1677.5, but we just didn't get enough. There's a couple ways to get a seed if you want to grow the 1677.5 Hunt, one is through the Dills, the GVGO fundraiser or through the many club fundraisers this winter.
Don't miss on your chance to get one. This seed has 1600# written all over it, as the pollinator is the 1156 Hunt (1631 x 1689).

Hey Andy! I'm a guy that never has a dollar in my pocket. I use plastic for everything. @ 37 I just got my first set of cheques and they aren't even mine. My wife just had my name put on hers. Haha. Another grower picked something up for me and said I could mail him a cheque. I emailed him the money. Must be my generration. Electronic money transfer is my comfort zone.
Cheers.

I hear ya Chris, only coffee money in my pocket, all the rest is plastic. My bank allows me no fee money orders so I just go there with the Dill order form all filled out and throw her in the envelope. I'm a few years older than you so I swing both ways, plastic or cheque that is!
