I have two humble requests. One -have a Great Christmas and a Super New Year.
Secondly- If you can, please pray for my wife. Her epilepsey/brain injury condition is continuing to deterioriate and we are facing the time, in the near future, that she will need care, way beyond, that Iam capable of.
I keep hoping for a Christmas miracle, that her cognition problems, etc., will improve or at best stabilize.She has her good days but lately the bad days are outnumbering the good ones.

I want to wish all of you the best. You are the greatest group of people I have ever had the please to be associated with.

May all your aspirations and growing dreams come true in 2010.

Hello, I have prayed for you and your wife and will continue to pray for you both. Prayer is powerful, and mericles do happen.
I am proof of that. I also had suffered from epilepsey all my life. I did say had suffered. PRAISE GOD!!! I have been on all the seizure medication and all different combinations of them and still was having 5 to 7 seizures a day. My memory was gone. I forgot everything and needed help most days to care for myself .My kids were taking care me more than me caring for them.I had no life,I hid from the world because I did not want anyone to see me that way.I was afraid of having one and scaring little kids,and I never wanted to embarress my family,I would not even hardly talk to people on the phone.i was very withdrawn.
The doctors finally said that my only option was surgery.I was ready to try anything.I wanted my life back.I wanted to be able to care for my family.
My husband,Keith Barrett better known as Burrhead, is a member of this site he posted on here about what I was going through and that the doctors had decided to do the surgery.I think everyone here at Big Pumpkins was praying for me,And I THANK GOD FOR THEM ALL! Their was power in their prayers. That was June 24 of this year.

It took me about a month to get back on my feet, would have been alot sooner, but they over dosed me on medication and had my liver ready to shut down when I came to myself enough to know what they were doing,and it was only by the grace of God that I was able to catch their mistake.I decided then it was time to get out of that hospital, and get home.I knew once home my God , husband, and girls could take care of me and get me back on my feet.
God is why I'm here and doing absolutely wonderful. I'm out of the house almost everyday,I have became very active in the church and even had a role in the church Christmas play, I talk to everyone,I'm not afraid to walk outside by myself,go into stores alone anymore ,realy I'm a new person all together,I am very outgoing now , my memory is better than ever, never do I write down things, my girls get away with nothing now because they can no longer sneak things past me and when I say something they know to do it because I'm not going to forget it two minutes later.
IT'S ALL IN THE POWER OF PRAYER.
GOD IS LISTENING, HE HEARS OUR PRAYERS AND HE DOES ANSWER THEM!!
I AM A TESTIMONY TO A FINE DOCTOR AND GOD'S HEALING GRACE.
You and your wife are in my prayers.
God will look upon you and bless you both.
