Last year I bought a Seed lot of yours I was after the 1288. It appears my instincts were right as the 1288 did very well its first year out. Also in the lot was your 1200. I planted both seeds and out of my ten plants these took off well ahead of the rest. I decided to cross them unfortunitly they both quit growing at about 300# and to young to salavge any seeds. I have a couple of questions I would like to ask if I may.
The 1200 isn't listed on the AGGC and I was wondering how that seed did? Secondly the last two years I've had a problem with fruits stop growing in mid season. I've only growen for a few years, I've been told its to much fertilizer to much boron or to much water. Its seems you don't hear much about this from the more successful growers. Is there any suggestions you may have for curing this problem? I would appreciate any advice you may offer.
or anyone who has had the same problem and been able to solve it. thanks Mike

The 1200 08 was my 1423 ( 1068 x 1041 ) crossed with the 1385 that grew the 1288. That plant got flooded out and tagged with hail. It stopped growing a few weeks after. I think Bruce Whittier had one on the 1200 that went very heavy for him. Other than that I dont think it was planted.

Hey Mike, Do you have any soil tests we can look at? Boron would show up in your micros...If God gave ya to much water not much you can do other then raise the patch higher. If you're watering to much, you can make the adjustment. . To much fertilizer can also cause some bad blooms of fusaria which will abort the pumpkin especially in wet conditions. Hope you can figure it out. Wait for the big guys to answer but I'm sure they want to see the soil tests. GrowEmBig!
