Yuh gotta have fun in it. I built a luge run for my kids, actually its a path down the hill with built up snow walls, I then watered it down to make it fast, kids love it.

We got about 10" of snow along with the -0 temps and high winds. Schools let out early Tuesday and were closed Wednesday and Thursday. Friday it actually got warm enough that the salt was starting to work on the ice. Supposed to be a little below 0 for Saturday morning, and snow and ice are coming for Sunday evening through Tuesday. Typical Iowa December.

We have been doing pretty well until today. -4 with a windchill of -12. Let's just say anyone spending extra time fiddling with their papers or giving BS excuses why they were going 140 in blowing snow got the deluxe treatment. The province got a little richer today.

Jim, hunting and fishing over near Fulda, MN you might need to google it to find it but it's 20 miles west of Windom, or 15 miles north of Worthington. 8 inches of ice here so we rolled the fishouse out about 200 feet and made some holes. Nothing worth bragging about yet! lol Cool to be the first house out.

actually i know where that is...i lived in New Ulm for 2 yrs...one of the coldest winters of my life... I remember getting up every 3-4 hrs to start my car as we didn't have a garage and it was like 20 below actual temps for 3-4 days...ugh...hoping to go to Lake of the Woods here in a couple weeks...otherwise lets hook up and do some fishing..
