I am thinking about purchasing a mulcher/shredder for the garden. I will probally be using it mostly for leaves, cornstalks, random veggie plants and maybe some hedge trimmings and branches. All will end up in compost pile. Should engine size matter? What are some good brands?
Thanks, Joe Z.

Joe ,I bought a troy built 4 years ago.I think its 5 horse. It has enough power to grind up leaves, branches to 1.5 inches. It was in the 450 dollar range. Also you can buy parts easily and the thing starts every time.
