Nic, if you trade a seed that was traded to you and it just so happens that the seed was traded to that person who in return the person who traded it to another person who traded it that person then bought it at auction that the person who gave it to the auction traded it to get that seed,,,, then Id say,,, Yea, trade away.

Brooks...that is perfectly clear and exactly why I don't trade seeds with people that I don't know.....you just never know what you are really going to get.

Just so you know the more hands it sees the less likely it is geniune..Alot of growers will ask this..I for one will not do 3rd party seeds.

Depends...If you get a seed by promising to grow it, then trading it would be in poor taste. If the donor is consulted & approves the trade then go for it.
