I have been reading good things about this. I have 5#'s of left over RTI pumpkin pro and I was just going to go ahead and but 10 more #'s for next year. But now that I have been reading more about the Endo I was thinking about buying a few #'s and mixing it all togeather. What are you thoughts on it? I have seen that Phil and Jane hunt used it to grow the 1677.5,Bob Liggett and Mehdi daho also used it to grow 1600 plus pounders.
I will be planting a cover crop this weekend do you think I sould just spread iut the left over pumpkin pro and then rake in the rye?
Should I buy some of the Endo?
I would love some help frow all of the heavy hitters on this subject since they know far more on it than I do.
Thanks for your Help!

Hi Martin, If you email me I can send you specific information on the BioGrow Endo plus and the results of several independent studies. BioGrow Endo Plus now has 4 species of Endomycorrhizal Fungi, 2 species of Trichoderma, humic acid, seaweed, and vitamins. I can be reached at hollandsgiants.com Thanks, Joel

Martin, I plan on using both this year, Endo from Hollands in my planting hole and RTI for everything else. When I used the Endo before I never had stump problems, maybe because of the Tricoderma it has in it , or maybe just a coincidence?. But ether way I want to go back to what worked for me the best as far as my stump issues go.(Mr foamy)
And just for peace of mind,I do plan on sending both samples of the Endo and RTI into a lab for testing and will share the results with anyone who would like to see them. I also emailed Mycorrhizal Applications twice in the last two weeks with what I plan on doing, and would also share the results with them. Im still waiting on a reply from them.

I believe that the Endo Joel sells is phenomenal. You can't beat the combo of beneficial fungi and the biostimulant effect it has on growing. Also some of the newer products on the Holland's site is pioneering into what's needed to grow the first one-ton pumpkin. I believe one product also contains 9 beneficial bacteria as well for our purposes. Don

Maybe to late in Ohio for rye to grow Nick but not elsewhere in the world...don't be so closed minded.

Jane & I used both products on our pumpkin last year. We took 5# of Bio Endo Plus & mixed it with 5# of RTI's Pumpkin Pro to see what would happen. With all the debate about which of the 2 products were the best, we decided to use both to make sure we had all the bases covered. Well, a 1677.5# pumpkin is what happened. We'll use both again in 2010.

I did use the endo joel sells. I found the roots are much more "hairy" than without. I mean the roots innoculated had plenty of little ones like hairs. To compare, I didn't use endo on one of my plant. The roots were thin with much less "hairs". I did another test at home with 2 flowers. First pot with endo , second pot , no endo. The difference is amazing. On the first pot, you remove the flower with all the potting mix cos of the roots tangle everywhere and on the second pot, you remove the flower with very few potting mix. Will use it again ! Mehdi
