im in wheeling wv and trying to find the closes club,i have found the ohio club, is there a club in pa. and is there a club in barnsville or is that just a pumpkin fest? wiegh off, and do you have to belong to a club to wiegh off? THANKS GLEN

Eastern Pennsylvania

the pa weighoffs are held in altoona pa and longwood gardens pa. you do not have to be a member to weigh.

The PGPGA (Pennsylvania Giant Pumpkin Grower's Association) is a great deal at 15 bucks. The club sends out quarterly newsletters, has a great seed draw each year, and the website archives each yearly weigh-off with pictures and growers hometown along with the weights.

Most clubs are a great deal, each has there own thing. Best of luck choosing a club but most growers belong to a few for the great seed draws and newsleters!

Lots of great clubs out there for sure. The ovgpg and the sogpg are two great clubs to be a part of in Ohio, and are the closest for where your located.
Im only a hop skip and a jump from you across the river in St.Clairsville,Ohio.
