I consider anything over 350 to be good for mine.

wow, 920 seeds, that the most I have ever heard of.
Of the popular seeds in the past, I heard the 1097 Beachy had a slew of seeds in it as well, just not sure of how many.

The max for me was 780 from a 280 pounder, nominal has been 400-500 across all weights. Still haven't had a fruit with no seeds but...for some reason many seedless fruit weigh MORE than average for their mother's track record. Parthenocarpic fruit are cool even if they are heart breakers.

Low-482 seeds(1248 Ford x open), rest 539 to 702, most were from 300-400#, 689.5# had 692. Most put out pretty full seed loads, plump well formed complete seeds, very few whiteseeds or pips. Even "Bob" the 783 Huff tiny seed put out good big full seeds and a goodly amount. Matt has the record this year I think!

400 is a good average type seed count-500 plus is very good.Ive had two plants in the past that had no mature seeds-both plants had two pumpkins set on them.Ive never had a pumpkin that had a low seed count(such as less than a hundred)-maybe I need to grow a 1500 lber to have 30 seeds in it

Wayne, I had to look it up in a dictionary. I have copied the definition below. Hopefully this helps.
Parthenocarpic (adjective): in horticulture, Neal Leland’s pumpkins.

Parthenocarpic (adjective): In botany and horticulture, parthenocarpy (literally induced production of fruit without fertilization of ovules. The fruit is therefore seedless
I've often taken pause with this due to the hormonal influence within the pumpkin to the presence of seeds (or lack thereof). For instance the 1131 Checkon (seedless) was the heaviest of the Lloyd/Mettler crosses (ie 845 Bobier).

300 to 400 seems to be about ave for me. I think the best I've got is about 650.
Shaker, why didn't you take that 558 to the Old Colorado City weighoff? Looks like you would have placed 6th out of 13.
