I have a couple hay bales left over from halloween. Would it be worth it to spread it over the pumpkin patch? Is there any benefit?
Thanks Dave

Do you like pigweed and other field weeds that grow inbetween the "hay plants"....?

Hay bales grounded up work great in a compost pile first.

If it is good alfalfa hay it would be great for the patch. Composting will help kill off any remaining seds.
