patrick moser- grumpkins.com is carving the 923 on the uss intrepid (us sea air and space museum). i haven't seen the finished product yet. they were very excited when we arrived with the pumpkin last week. people stopped taking photos of the ship and planes and converged on us and the 923. special thanks to tim rosa for getting it into the city with me!

The Intrepid is a proud piece of history. We had our Scouts there for the last weekend before the renovation.
I tried to contact the NBC producer who arranged our TODAY Show broadcast but there seemed to be a public TV station already in there.
I wish we could have gotten down there this weekend.
