I'll be planting my 224Brouillard09 1128Beauchemin (1566Rodonis x 998Pukos) x 340Beauchemin (503Beauchemin (503 is a 898Knauss remake) x 898Knauss. I will be pollinated with the biggest pumpkin grown, 1354Checkon. (I think its still the biggest pumpkin, size not weight)

Eddie, If you've got space for three how about one seed proven for orange beauties, one for white and a squash for green? What better way for an Irishman to go out in style? Slainte

Last season ----for sure, but plan on going out with a BIGGIE, ergo the need to get my brain around what to grow. I have started thinking about soil structure, and will increase significantly, the amount of actual soil/clay, relative to the compost/manure blend I,ve used the past 2 years, to possibly a 60/40 mix, even a 70/30 if I can locate good quality top soil. I,m also gathering in some "rock dust" for use on the plot. Anyone else using this product??. It comes from crushed basalt. Micheal, you took my crown and I,ll be back to regain it in 2010, and I humbly accept your offer of some seeds, ( grovel grovel). You know the address. All you other disbelievers who think I,ll not quit--- well maybe.

By the way anyone feeling sorry for me losing my hard earned Irish crown, held for about 6 seasons, feel free to send lots of top quality seeds. Address supplied if this begging letter is successful.Money available too if required, but most of all info on the best possible genetics which must survive a cool damp sunless Irish summer.

Why not just continue to grow "genetics patches".
You will not have to put in so much more work if you are not aiming for giant size.
Just let the plants do their thing, look for the male and female flowers, and make controlled crosses, but other than that allow you to have more time on your hands.
The plants are not so tough to grow to maturity and surivive if you are just not being competative with them.

Thanks meathead, but, what's life without a challenge. If I grow them, it's, got to be, to win.

Grab some seeds from the Pacific Northwest. We never get any sun here either, or so we would like the rest of the world to think.
