New European and French record !!!!! 1609 lb

Unbelievable but real !

A big , a "Grand" pumpkin has been weighed at Kasterlee at a huge 1609 lb.

Congratulations to Mehdi Daho (france) for this monster pumpkin after only 2 years of experience.

This is the first ever 1500lber and 1600lber in Europe and probably the biggest pumpkin ever grown after 2 years.

The fruit was 7.12% heavy.

This guy is amazing.

Personally, I have only word for him : Bravo !

Hi Everybody,

First, I would like to thank everybody for the kind words.
Also I would like to thank all the growers who help me during the season : Joe Pukos and Peter Glasier for these fantastic seeds, Kevin Marsh , Chad Revier, Fabrice Boudyo, Tremor, Joel Holland etc... for all the advices.
Christy , YOU are Brillant !
This year,my target was 1000lber loll.
The fruit was 116 days old and was still growing !
The plant was very healty, disease resistant, huge leaves ( 80cm diameter), very aggressive with vines 2 foot towards the sky, long and steady grower.
The fruit is 100% organic.( don't panic loll)
I'm very proud, all the hard work has paid.
Now, I stop growing pumpking and start golf lolll

How could it be disease resistant if it was organic? lol
No matter how healthy that plant was it had to have had some fungicide or pesticide in it to fend of disease.

I have only sprayed milk to prevent PM, no problem at all.
Even now, half of the plant is still green and healthy.
No pesticide or fungicide at all Nic.

Tiller, I prefer to keep playing Bowling than Golf ,lol.
