Best thing to do is put in the seeds and take it down to the PO and ask them. That way it won't get tossed back attchu.

inside the us 3 stamps should do it unless they send you their whole stash. i agree that going to the post office and wighing is the best thing. 3 stamps outer envelope and 3 stamps on your bubble should secure it.

That sounds like a #0 bubble. There are two sizes smaller, #00 and #000 which might cost you a little less money, both for the envelope and for postage.
Should be able to fit the seeds in the smaller envelopes unless they send too many seeds (if that's possible).

SW,
If you are sending a self-addressed bubble to a grower for some of their seeds, you don't know how full they are going to stuff it. The current postage rates for the 6 X 9 bubble mailers are $0.88 for the first ounce and $0.17 for each ounce on top of that.
"Orangeneck" has a great suggestion by putting 3 $0.44 cents stamps the bubble and the outter envelope. To be safe, put an extra $0.44 stamp on the bubble.
If the postal people weigh the bubble, you may have a "postage due" when the bubble comes back to you due to a generous grower sending you a lot of seeds.

I was looking for #00 or #000 but #0 was the smallest I could find that was readily available = Staples. I try puting seeds in (plan on sending then anyway) and go to post office -- I'll know for next time -- thaks all!

I have the post office weigh the envelope I'm sending and pay that stamp/envelope price, I put 4 on the return, I think that is a little to much but you don't want the person giving you the seeds to have to pay.
