Lets see...446OTT...thats (Im told) 1839est.....so, if it goes more than 6% light Christy wins (ya!)....if it goes 6% or less light Doc wins (Ya!). Either way Giant Pumpkins wins. So...what does this mean.....hmmm....if Doc goes over 8% heavy thats the first 2000 lb pkn....and only Christy gets a GPC jacket and I have to grow a 1700lber to get one. If it goes 1800's then only the 1600plus growers get jackets (Phill Hunt, Christy) and patches (Don, Don,Dave),hmmm...that kinda sux.

I think the estimation chart needs to be changed for the bigger pumpkins. They ones that estimate over 1800 lbs have gone light. The same thing happened last year. Pumpkins never seem to go heavy after 1400 lbs.

congrats to lucky conley who place 4th ,who dedicated his pumpkin to his late brother buddy conley ,and hopefully the herald will correct their false info on 3rd and 4th place winners ,because lucky deserves all he can get on doing such a nice job on his 1,125 pounder , thats right everyboby ,the circleville herald says that the 3rd place winner is dean park with 1,068 ,when its actually the gerchy family with 1,128 for 3rd ,and the herald says that gary liff took 4th with his 927.5 pumpkin ,but actually lucky conley is the rightfull 4th place with the 1,125 , i just want these people to be rightfully recognized for all their hard work , because they all deserve it ,also congrats to bob on that monster of a pumpkin he grew !!!
