With all the excitment with the 1725 world record, I forgot all about the Howard Dill award. What pumpkin ended up winning the award?

Given in honor of Howard Dill, the founding guru/grower of the line of giant pumpkins we grow today. He wanted big round orange pumpkiny fruits, pretty fruits, and big fruits. It is given at some GPC weighoffs for the best looker pumpkin, it may not be the biggest, but it was the prettiest. Some grow JUST to try to get the HD award. It's up to the weighoff to give any sort of other prize with it. Sometimes it's the judges decision, sometimes it's audience, it is up to the weighoff.

It's the peoples choice. I liked how the OVGPG decided who won the award by popular vote.
I have posted coverage of the OVGPG weigh-off on my site at www.perrysgreenhouse.com, I have pictures of all but @ 5 pumpkins weighed that day including Landon's Big orange pumpkin if anyone is interested in viewing them.
Also if I don't have a pic of your pumpkin and you would like it added please contact me at the site.
