So as I posted on my diary that I called the Small local newspaper up and they published a picture and article of my pumpkins on the front page on Wednesday.

I get home from work Friday Night, and there is a message on my answering machine. It is a News Anchor from Channel 2 here in Buffalo, NY asking me if I could email her a picture of my 882 and that they would like to use it in their Newscast and tell some stuff about me growing her.
I guess word gets around.

Is this type of stuff happening to me normal this time of year, or what?

Great job! I had a few local media from the bristol area who called me up and talked with me about my pumpkin. I was with Mike Oliver and the rest of the gang. I think Mike may have allowed me to ride on his coat tails along with the rest of the SNGPG. It was great. Soak it up bud. It took you so long to grow that hog, you deserve to be proud of what you have done. By doing things like that the sport grows and more people get into this.
