How do you grow your pumpkins so ugly? I always seem to get a round and orange pumpkin. I have been trying to get a nice ugly pumpkin but I have never been able to. Have any tips on how I can grow an ugly pumpkin? lol

Ok, you have to be talking about me...lol
I hated having my pumpkin brought to the scales right after yours yesterday. I told my wife that was one extreme to the other.
And that was a beautiful pumpkin you had yesterday Nic, Congrats.

Nic I would have been proud to have a wonderfull looking pumpkin like yours but as you get older the pumpkins just get ugly.Some day you will grow the ugly ones like Paul and I...lol

For all those that dont know Nic's pumpkin got the peoples choice award at Oakland yesterday and it was hands down the best looking around. Post some picture Nic and let everyone see what a great job you did!!!!!

Nic was setting right behind me and grinning ear to ear the whole time. Good job Nic you grew one great looking pumpkin........................Darryl

Nic that was one of the prettiest pumpkins I have ever seen and thought with out a doubt it was the winner, congratulations!!!

Forget growing ugly if you can and keep those coming because I do know you can make big shiny orange go heavy.
