No world records broken, but many of the pumpkins at that site went way heavy. Congrats to Pap, Mike Parenty, Ken Watkinson and John Nicholas. Those are incredible %'s over estimate. Congrats to all contestants, but these few were incredibly heavy.

It seems that many, many went heavy this year. The OTT chart needs to be revised IMHO.

Thank you DHertz. When they taped the pumpkins I was expecting a weight of maybe 524. I was surprised when the pumpkin was weighed at 679. Wow. Ron and Pap's pumpkins where the show stoppers. Talk about thick huge pumpkins. The SNGPGA did a great job. These growers are true gentleman and are total pioneers in the hobby. It was a learning expirience for me. Mike Oliver is a great man that I can learn so much from.

I like to help out. Being part of the club is great. I was amazed at the size and health of the fruits. Everyone did a great job in organizing and helping out to make the event fun and safe. Thanks goes out to all members of the SNGPGA. I got to ride on their coat tails this year. In the future i'd like to get more members to join up with us. The future is bright for the hobby in Southern New England, Pap it was my pleasure to help out. Had a blast!
