What exactly defines grower of the year. I honestly dont know what defines it. Nonetheless I would like to nominate someone for consideration.
Ron Hoffman, of Riverton Wyoming.
Ron broke the Wyoming state record, and then broke it again and then yet again. Thats right, 3 of the 4 pumpkins that Ron grew, broke the Wyoming state record. Not sure anyone has ever done that? Could be wrong?
There has to be more people for consideration. Who else would you nominate??

GPC grower of the year as follows.
Combination of weight of 3 pumpkins weighed at 3 seperate events. Or the sum of 3 total pumpkins and squash at at least 2 events.
I think it's gonna take 4500# this year. It's unfortunate because the guys at elevation definitely are handicapped.

Good luck Chad and Don! "It is what it is". You're both top notch growers in my book.

Thanks Greg, the thought is appreciated, but I think there's lots of other growers way more worthy.
Chad's definately got to be in the running.... http://www.bigpumpkins.com/MsgBoard/ViewThread.asp?b=3&p=320062
