Does anyone have an address to which a SASE can be sent in the hope that a seed can be obtained from either the record pumpkin or tomato or is the OVGPA going to be selling them to raise funds or what?

Lub, this is not true AT ALL, contact the growers of the seed you wish and just ASK..Be nice and courtious and most of the big guys will help you out, remember be nice. Just understand if every request is not granted, due to low seed count, no seeds or other obligations that the grower may have. Most of the really big hitters are happy to have there seeds grown. I would still join there organization even if they allow you to grow there seed. November is a great time to start networking with other growers.

Marv, you can click their grower diary and email them with your request. Many of you don't know Lubadub, but he's been in this hobby a long time and has probably forgotten more about growing tomatoes than I'll ever know. Good luck in your quest. That was a mighty impressive 'mater wasn't it? But all I can think of is BLT's.

Thanks Tiller for your kind comments, actually it was the tomato seeds that I was interested in. Anyway, I think I have lined up a few. Can't wait for next year to arrive in the patch.
