The companies involved in organic contamination aren't releasing any information, under the advice of their lawyers. Or I get a company spokesperson who gives me a political speech. But I did cross paths with an apple grower who showed me how he makes compost tea, which includes 2% Canola Oil. I'm posting pictures in my diary. But this late in the season and my Howdens are just starting to get PM. The other photos are of some grapes a neighbor has growing wild on one of his fences. Grapes are normally really bad, but as you'll see, they have no problems and look at how healthy and green the leaves are this late in the season. I should mention, we've had one light frost too. I sure hope this grower's claim that Canola Oil is a great natural fungicide in compost tea is true.
