With 1 more week to go here in the midwest...MN has moved from 1142 already to 1331! The TTA has been re-written and after this weekend...most likely only 2 fruits from non-2009 remaining! So much for the coldest July!

Wow, we sould change the name from Stillwater to "the Revier, Bhaskaran giant pumpkin weigh off" Great job, 6 of the 10 are Revier, Bhaskaran.

Lots of folks have helped all of us over the years and it is just great to see MN get back on the map...Glenn Brown held the MN record at 923 lbs and challenged the world back in 1994 when I was growing them(ok..you'd have to back to 1970 ;-)...we still have a ways to go...but we're getting closer!
Any MN growers who are not on my email list(if you didn't get a TTA email)...please send me your name and email address to [email protected]
Thanks.

Yeah!!!

...Now I just have to get myself a bigger patch.

Well I can do more next year, Alex B. lit a fire under me.

I was in a bit of a Demotivated state as I have a very small patch, only 1/5th the size a competative grower would use.

Then I saw Alex's patch and the 700 pound beast he grew, and realize that there is still a lot that can be done with my space.

Once my wife is done with school we will be buying some land out of town, where I got some room, maybe next year or the year after.

It is motivating to see some of those big numbers in Minnesota.

Good to hear you're going to stick with it. Work that soil and you'll be on that top ten my friend.

I can remember not too long ago a new guy showed up looking for advice from the experts and he now holds the top three spots.

A special congrats to Chad for owning the top three in quick fashion.
