The NEGPGA would like to thank all the volunteers and all growers who brought their pumpkins to this years weigh off. Because of you , we had another great year at Topsfield. We also would like to thank the Topsfield Fair for their very generous sponsorship.Without each and everyone of you our weighoff would not be the huge success that it is. We are very grateful to all of you.
Congratulations to BILL RODONIS for winning this years weigh off. Bill's pumpkin weighed in at an amazing 1471.6 lbs. Bill Rodonis is the epitome of all that is good in this great sport. Bill's sincerity, his integrity, and commitment to the growing of these giants is to be commended.
We look forward to seeing everyone next week at the SNGPGA weigh off next Saturday.

Mary Ann, congrats on a great weigh-off!!! And you nailed it!!! BR is just as you described him. I had the pleasure of meeting him in the "Niagara Snowstorm" and have never met a more cordial man!! Mary Ann this was the first weigh off I attended. I was completely amazed at how well it was organized and how kind and warm all the growers were. Everyone that I introduced myself to spent a few moments to encourage me to keep growing and learning. Although I am not a member yet I plan joining the NEGPGA without a doubt. See you next year but this time I'll be next to a scale instead of on the sidelines.

Thanks for the great experience.
