Wait ... 1502?? 1502?? that could be an omen!!! Well, with all the good genetics out there, we have to have something to help us decide! Truthfully, 1502 average is a amasing and ironic considering 1502 was just a few years back!

Amazing results..congrats....

Could someone tell me why Jerry Rose, Jerry Snyder and Quinn Werner weighed two pumpkins each at the same GPC weigh off.... I thought you were only allowed to weigh one?

BP, as I understand the rules...and could be wrong!!! A grower can weigh 2,(or maybe more)... only one is eligible for prizes!!!( GPC Ribbon awards)...(Monetary awards are left up to the site)But...all count in sites top 10 avg!!! Hopefully Dave, or Andy, or Tremor will chime in here!! Peace, Wayne

Two can be weighed for TOP 10 per grower, One is exhibition...One can Exhibit as many kins as one wants to bring.......makes for great pumpkin events with lots of fruit....And they get weighed and listed on the GPC.

But only two count per grower for the top 10.

NICE TOP 10

Unfortunately I missed our 1063.5 pound pumpkin getting 26th place (lol). Of course, I missed it to do a benefit for Children's Hospital, so count your blessings if you were able to make it to a weigh-off.

Not sure how prizes were handed out, but even if the three growers above us who had two fruit a piece were only allowed one award, we would still be 23rd...sheesh! I personally feel only one monetary award per address is appropriate.

As for the top ten average...this is definitely the premier weigh-off! One had to have a fruit over 1400 just to make the top ten! Congrats to all!
