The soil I grew in this year was...Well old, and seemed like it was rock, it looks it hasen't been tilled for years. Here's me question...
Would I be able to fix it by adding ALOT of cow manure and peat moss then till it all up.
Or would it just be better to buy some of that black fluffy soil you see at every large garden store?
Thanks. -Jordan

build it up JA with composted manure,leaves and peat moss.get a soil test before you start.The garden store soils arent usually as advertised and can be a step backwards

Ask your parents for an early xmas gift and give a call to;
Lake Country Compost Distributors 1790 High Road, Kelowna, BC 250-470-9664
Also, you could call or visit your local education centre at;
Compost Education Centre 2363 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC 250-868-2768
They can tell you other companies in your area that provide and sell various kinds and mixes of compost.
Get on it now so your soil is ready in spring...good luck.

Thanks! I'll give the Compost Distributors a try, I think I've been there before.
