This is my first year growing and my pumpkin is close to 700lbs. When i move it is it alright to tip it on its side to get a pallet underneath it or can that damage it. And if i were to use straps to lift it is there a certain way to place the straps and can the straps damage the pumpkin? Thanks alot

Mister Leon, rolling it on is side and putting the pallet up to its underside shouldn't be a problem if you have a few guys and a good pallet. I've done this numerous times without any problems.

I am not too far away from Pittsburgh, if you need help loading your pumpkin up let me know.
I have a set of homemade straps that work great.
