What do I do with the ears of popcorn now that they are off the stalk? Help!!!!!!!!!!!

i think i read somewhere to leave the kernels on the ear, try some at a later time...if they pop ok then pop what you are going to eat...but I believe you are to leave the ears intact as long as possible..good luck

Take all the husks off the ears, spread them out so they get air and dry them for about a month. Try a few kernals to see how many pop. Keep drying them until all pop, then shell the ears and store in an air-tight container and enjoy. I used to raise ladyfinger popcorn but it's available a lot cheaper than I can grow it.
