hi ray

wish tyhe wpc would reconsider rule # 5.

color requirement was always a problem for years. im very glad we in the gpc no longer need to judge what percentage of green ( or orange-yellow-white-salmon-etc ) a pumpkin has ? before its qualified as a squash or pumpkin.

its very difficul6t for judges to determine what is over or under a certain percentage of color.i was very glad to see the gpc change their color rules several years back. the change has saved a lot of arguments and been received very well by its sites and members.

Rule 15 is hard to swallow too. Most wont like to give up the rights to keeping their respected pumpkins.
