Today I took my pumpkins to the Southern New Mexico state fair. One pumpkin is the New Mexico State champ and the other Had also beat the previous state record.
Unfortunately They had no way to unload either pumpkins nor any way to move it in the building since there were no large doors. It was like being all dressed up and no place to go. I had made sure before hand that they knew they were on palllets and needed a fork lift or pallet jack.
Next year Im growing a tomato......Ha Ha

Danny, how do ya know they are the Mexico state record if you couldn't get em out of the truck to get em weighed?,,BAA HAHAHA!,,

Congrats Bud on how ever you did it! New Mexico has got to be a tuff place to grow a pumpkin, especially in that type weather is a accomplishment in its self! Sorry to hear you couldnt get a chance to show em off.

If you see my diary My pumpkin was already weighed because they dont have scales here at the fair. A Ag ext. agent inspected and certified the weigh at certified scales....

I know it was Danny, dont get your thong in a bunch,, I was pulling for ya to beat that mexico record. Sometimes you cant take me to seriously, 99.9% of the time Ill be pulling growers legs on here. Again .CONGRATULATIONS

New Mexico Growers Danny O amd SWdesert......Weigh Off in Colorado Springs this weekend, I hear there will be growers coming up for this weigh off. We already set a new Colorado and Wyoming State Record last weekend....Could we set another state record this weekend?

Danny, Counter offer, P & T grower club in Boise City, OK... we're just a couple of tosses away from Clayton NM :) You're welcome here and I so happen to have access to a forklift.
