Can anyone tell me if i should get my soil tested now or right after the harvest or do I wait a few weeks to let the patch settle. I'd like to get the soil tested a.s.a.p so I can have it looked over and given advice on amendments.

Do it now. Go to the "Soil Prep and Analysis" message board and check out the last post.

Your post as to soil testing was good it's evident that you trust the people you do buisness with. I certainly will keep that in mind. I think i'm gonna follow the lead of the rest of the SNGPA and get my soil tested at the UMASS. Lab and then I'm sure I'll get some help with the amendments from the expirienced growers of the SNGPA. That's what makes the hobby so great.
