Subject:  What kind of critters were under your pumpkin ?

I thought in might be fun to here what kind of critters everyone found under their pumpkins. I suppose if you did every thing right, you should not have anything under it.
I'll start.
I had a nice sized toad and a mouse nest, (with one adult mouse which met my shovel) under mine. I put the toad back into the rest of my patch.

Common woodlouse then again i have plywood under the fruit so i don't think i have any mice. I guess we'll see.

possibly a mole or mouse under there right now along with a bunch of moth balls and pellets and mouse traps.

As my grandson would say there was four lizards under there. Ther where four salamanders under the pumpkin when we loaded it yesterday.

Mr. P.P. Pumpkineaters wife...........That was pretty disturbing. But if you ever saw her you might understand why he'd want to put her there. Really though, all I found were tunnels, no actual critters.
