Didn't think I would have anything worthy to show up at a contest with this year, as my Pk'n is in a small patch, and I did not do a lot of the competitive care with. Just for time and other commitments (I got too many hobbies).

Anyhow, I got one that is really nice looking right now, and I figure it may be good looking enough to actually bring somewhere and display her for the sake of looks, and to actually say I brought one to a contest.

Problem is I did not expect it to look this pretty at the start of this year with limited space I figured I would just get a decent Jack-O-Lantern, and I did not make plans to take it anywhere.

Is there any contest that anyone knows of within 3 hours driving distance to St.Cloud MN that has not already passed?

If there isn’t, is there still somewhere I could bring her to get an official weight?

I know, I know...

Any prizes for the biggest cat fish? Now we're talking. I'll be on the bank of the river between say 10-2 or so, I'll come up for the weighoff, then back on the bank for me for the display time. Then back in the boat for the ride home.

Bill,

Thank you so much. I got the e-mail. I plan to make the Delano one on sunday.

It sounds like it will be fun.

At the least I would love to just know how much she weighs, and see some of the real monsters there too.

nothing to worry about bjx2,

I dont think I'm going to redwing, and besides, I think yours will be heavier than mine. I'm not in the running for size, by any stretch.

With some changes next your I may get more size, but there is a limit to what under 150 square foot is going to do. It may be less than that, I will have to re-measure.

I do know that Alex did one over 700 in that small of space, his Dairy may have lit a fire under my ***. I will be burying soaker hoses next year for sure.

meat, I'm growing in 200' per plant myself, I know how it is! Elevated terraced garden to boot, fun to even get a 100lb'er out of. Good luck!

I plan to be in Delano to see you fellas as well. If you ever make it alive into Minneapolis you're always welcome to come see the truth in footage for yourselves. Only neighbors who wonder why I'm growing so much ruhbarb and ask about the strange smells come to visit. We'll have to discuss secrets at Delano!
