Its great to get all the weigh off results here on BP.COM from the growers,, if possible could you please list the seeds next to the pumpkins that are grown. Its like only getting half the information. Its always great to know the seeds that has grown the big ones.

Brooks, usually once they get reported to GPC the parentage is listed.... Else might have to ask the grower.

Um,,*rolling eyes* sometimes it usually takes a while for the seed to be listed on the GPC site Okie, thats why I posted this to ask growers to post the seed''IF'' they could with the weights.
Besides,, usally everyone knows the seeds the pumpkin was grown off of, its the first question us growers ask each other when we take a pumpkin TO a weigh off to be weighed ....

Brooks,, *giggling* it is really nice when the seeds grown and crosses are given when people report the weights from the weigh-offs. Like you, I always look forward to seeing what new seeds are doing and if the seeds from a few years ago continue to do well.....and not have to wait for the results on another site at a later date.

At least we can be confident that Okie will post all the seeds and parentage at her GPC weigh off in Oklahoma when she takes her largest pumpkin there to be weighed at an official documented event.

I hear ya Glenn, and I realize some growers that post dont know the seeds that grew em, and thats totaly understandable.
but not knowing the seed is like eating cereal with no milk, ya gotta have it,or as you would say it Glenn, its like going by a real bad car accident and not looking,, it just doesnt happen ,, ya always look,,,lol!!

With our weather cranking down I might be at the scale a lot sooner :(

I will do the best to nav through the data entry in a timely manner; before they put me in the jacket with the sleeves that tie in the back and haul me off in five point restraints for my vacation in rubber-wallpapered-room land. (I will need it by the time the weighoff is done!)

Brooks,
This is a big issue we deal with every fall and we need your help. The issue starts with the growers not bringing their vital statistics to the site or they have the info and do not take the time to enter it on the registration form.

The other issue we have is the site not getting the info on the BP spread sheet then uploading it to BP. Some sites do not enter all entries let alone take the time to enter all the information they get during their weigh-off day.

We need every ones help to watch the sites they participate at or just go to spectate. If you see an error or notice entries not on the results or just don't see any results at all get ahold of the site representatives. When you are at the site ask who is gathering and entering the info for the BP spread sheet and ask if they need help. Post a message on BP get ahold of your GPC regional rep just don't sit back and think some one else will get it because in many instances it doesn't get handled.

Our goal this year is to "leave no entry behind" but we need you to help. No entry is to small and if you take the time to bring it to a GPC site and you take the time to submit your vital info then it is the sites obligation to make sure your fruit and vital stats get listed in a timely manner.
