If it's in fact 48" between the wheel wells it will fit NO PROBLEM. Up to about 1200 will fit in a pickup...even over 1200 with the right shape.

Might have to stack a few pallets to clear the wheel wells.

1081 in an S10 has to be like triple the payload capacity....lol.

Half ton capacity is +- 1200#.

Thanks, I guess I forgot to say I have two pumpkins, but I believe if I use two pallets it will clear wheel wells...thanks Linus.

Barbie!,, not to worry! I got alot of laughs bringing this pumpkin to the weigh off in a Ford Ranger,,LOL! if I can fit a 1400 lber in the back of one a Ranger,, anything is possible,,lol!!
It was fun watching Tim Parks trying to but it back into the truck after the weigh off was over, he was laughing so hard it took him 3 or 4 tries to get it in there, but he did it with out even scratching the sides of the pumpkin!,,hahaha!,LOL!

the 1400 lber in the back of that ext cab Ranger didnt even squat the tires after it was loaded , and drove like a Cadillac on the highway,, my Dad and I couldn't even tell it was back there. I think it had the heavy duty towing package is why it drove as good as it did.

Seriously this is good stuff! Has anyone ever 'broke' their truck trying to haul one to many?

This is funny stuff. I've had CLOSE to a ton in my Silverado 1/2 ton. Headlights only illuminate the sky! Those of you running even near that much weight in a compact must be using the tires for suspension...lolol.

What I think will help out alot is to get you pumpkin to sit all the way to the front of the bed instead of most of the weight sitting back by the tail gate behind the back tires.
I had my pumpkin touching the back glass I had it up so far in the bed, but I had no choice, not only did it touch the glass it touched both sides of the truck and the tail gate in order for it to fit,,lol!!!!!!!!

I know Bruce Hooker was glad that he measured before putting his pumpkin in his truck. Turns out he would have been a few inches to narrow. What he did is put a couple of pallets in the truck to raise the pumpkin up some which gave him a little extra room. I believe he was a few inches shy of 1,200 pounds.
