Expanding patch to 25x25 the one back area of the patch thats being expanded has a large ant hill, I plan on tilling the manure into the new area next couple of weeks whats the best way to get rid of the ant hill for good.

Mixture 1/2 Sugar and 1/2 Borax Powder laundry soap, Mix thoroughly. Pick nice dry day, warmer the better(more ant activity). Sprinkle in area where you see ant activity. Piles of it don't work better than spreading it out. Worker ants take the mix back to the nest. Kills the Queen and the colony. Workks for me. Kevin

another way is on a dry day sprinkle cream of wheat around the mound. They will eat it and die within 2 days. You will see dead ant carcasses around the mound as evidence of it working.
