I set a pumpkin Aug 13 day 10 the OTT was 82" I have been
puting on 8lbs a day, Iam now at est 166lbs with an ott
195" its day 31 could i still break 200lbs my pb is
180lbs?

Sure. If you an avoid a frost in the patch it should grow another 30 days. The pounds per day will drop with each passing day but I think 200lb is yours! Great Job.

Jess, you are well on your way. With a late set and still going 8 lb per day, if your plant is healthy and September stays nice like it is now...you should get past that 200 lbs pretty easy.

I hope mother nature keeps the pumpkins happy. You should beat the 200lb mark. The go for more next season.

I lost a pumpkin on my Jutras1385 a few weeks ago, so I let a second pumpkin grow at 30 feet out. It's an open pollination and I'm not sure of the date of pollination, but it's now growing better than the original pumpkin that I lost, at 20-25 pounds a day. It's now over 200 pounds and I'm hoping to push it to 400 pounds. Sometimes these things grow despite the weather. You've got plenty of time to reach 200 pounds.
