I got my pallet today. I secured (counter sunk)some plywood over the part where the pumpkin will be sitting on. Tomorrow I'll be getting some foam where I will glue or silicone it on the plywood..this should protect it and keep it in place. Anyone got any suggestions....

when transporting put bumpers around pumpkin like hay so she can't slide on you if you have to make a sudden stop or something

I drove 1500 miles last year with 2 pumpkins just sitting on the pallets on a flatbed pickup no straps or anything to hold em down. I wouldn't recommend everyone do that though.

I remember seeing...long, long ago....photos of a crushed pk'up truck cab...w/AG half/way thru the cab!!! Caused by a sudden stop, and skid (pallet) w/AG sliding forward quickly!!! Be safe, everyone!!! Peace, Wayne
