Hello, I see in that a lot of your patch out there, have close the pine and ceder ecc anyway all conifer trees My question is: the top soil near this trees is not acid?? Or is good for the patch this type of top soil? Just curious Thanks Sergio

I used lime and corrected the pH I have a 56 acre pine plantation.

I did the same thing unkadan did. Amended the soil as recommended by soil test to bring pH and all other levels up to par. I've had no problems. Also, I rake the pine needles off the patch in fall to keep them breaking down in the soil.
