I'd like to make something clear.
In none of the pictures we've posted are the photos modified to change the appearance of a pumpkin. I guess you'd say we are more "unknown" than "sandbaggers."
The latest photo is in fact a real fruit growing TODAY and yes it is big and getting bigger. It's not a 998, but close :)

Looks nice! It's hard to tell from the photo but it looks a little shorter than the 1689 but it may be a little taller. I'm still waiting for Mr. Unknown to address the measurements he noted in his first 4 diary posts. September 1st has passed...

i'm slow on jokes (took me over a year to figure out biz and his road trip lol) but it is the same person in the whole diary? or a complilation of friends? that one pic looked totally different (even different fencing).

Gene, holy crap that's a dandy. I hope you have luck getting that thing to the scale. Man there are some big ones in that latitude this year!
I hope we don't truely worry about others. I would never wish the worst upon anyone. There is far too much time and effort invested in this hobby and we need all the luck we can get!
