I hope fellow growers had a better season than I did in good old cold and wet Wyoming County. When you have August nights in the 40's and, yes once, 38 degrees, there is not much you can do. Other than putting up a patch size greenhouse/cold frame. If this were August 1st, wow! I would have had an awesome season. Iam not giving up.. But ma nature really ko'd my season. Ahh.. always next year.. Best wishes and good luck to all. I hope you are rewarded by your hard work! BP

this season was for a lot of us a sharp stick in the eye. yet in spite of this crap weather spring and early summer there are still some monsters among us that defy the odds. growth lost in july can not be nade up in augusr and september, no matter how good the weather. those early good growing pumpkins that defied the odds will prevail
