Just wondering. Would leaving them uncovered during the day help them warm up more? Or is the benefit of covering them more than that of uncovering them?

Depends on the temperature. Above 70 yes, uncovered. Below that, NO, they stay covered. I uncovered mine today as the temps are warming up again. They will be covered again tonight with lows in the upper 40's already this week.

I uncover every day yet because I have to water. they have sun/water shelters but still, blanket hems become soaked when I water......

We cover during the day, remove in the evening to dry out the pumpkin, then cover before the rabbits think they are a big carrots.
